Making some progress!

Well, I know I said about 2 months ago that I was going to start blogging in earnest. Unfortunately some things got in the way that had priority. But I'm back, not sure how often I'll post for a while, but eventually it will get to be a habit.

During August, there was a publicity blitz about John Reese and his "Traffic Secrets" course. The hype was incredible. Every 'net guru was pushing and pushing hard. I spent a lot of time studying what it could do for me, and decided if it delivered 1% of the promise it was well worth the cost. So, on the first day available, August 17th, I placed my order.

During the first part of August, also, I decided to start making a push with Google AdWords, and Google AdSense, primarily on my Vitamins and Supplements site. I started slowly, but after the Traffic Secrets course arrived and I started going through it, I got some great tips and started really making some traffic happen.

Of course, like any affiliate site, the Vitamins and Supplements site is set up to garner affiliate revenue, but a funny thing happened on the way to the bank. The site started getting a lot of AdSense clicks, in fact enough to become fairly profitable just from that. By profit I mean getting more income from Google AdSense than I was paying to Google AdWords. That's a beautiful thing, and my plan is to keep trying more of the same.

Of course, free search engine traffic is always the best, and that's why I invested in the Traffic Secrets course. A lot of the information in the course makes a lot of sense, a lot of which I didn't know before even with all the research I've done. I would say the course was a bargain.

My goal for the short term is to put all the pieces in place to earn an income (profit) of $200 a day through non-merchandise sales. That income would come from AdSense profits, affiliate profits, eBook sales, etc. Of course even after I reach that goal, I'll still be reliant on merchandise sales through our main web site at WholesaleCases.com, but that's my initial goal which I hope to halfway reach by the end of the year if not sooner. Once I reach that level, I'll feel confident to take the techniques and make them public.

Until next time, I wish you nothing but the best.
